The news is spreading quickly about The Sweet Tooth, and we have been busy trying to keep up with everything. We have a lot going on, and we want to make sure we keep you posted and up to date. This post will be dedicated to updates and announcements.
First Vegan Cupcake
About a week ago, we introduced our lineup of Spring Cupcake Flavors. Jamaican Sensation was one of the cupcake flavors, and it’s our first vegan cupcake. We plan on making cupcakes that everyone can enjoy, and this was a step we took to expand our market. Not everyone knows what it means when something is considered vegan, so let me try to explain. There are absolutely no animal products in this cupcake, no eggs, no butter, no dairy. If you are not vegan, and think the idea is taboo, try this cupcake… and you will change your mind. Here is what one customer had to say about this cupcake, “Just wanted to let you know that the Jamacian Sensation cupcakes were the talk of dinner – and the first ones to be finished. No one even thought to question if they were Vegan and were shocked when they were told they were.”
Our final spring cupcake flavor finally has a name. We hosted a contest on Facebook and allowed our fans to suggest names for our Chocolate Cherry cupcake. We got some great suggestions, and Amy and I had a hard time narrowing them down. We finally picked our favorite two, and allow our Facebook Fans to vote for their favorite. Cherry Meltdown was the most popular by far, but we might have to save The Love Doctor for a future cupcake. We would like to thank everyone that suggested names and voted, and a special thank you to Jessica S for suggesting the winning name!
Apple of my Eye
Apple of my Eye was introduced last Fall as a part of our amazing lineup of Fall Cupcakes. This cupcake has been so popular that we have added it to our lineup of regular flavors! Now you can enjoy this cupcake year round. If you have not tried this cupcake yet, contact us to order some! Apple, Cinnamon and Caramel, how can you lose with that combination?
The Sweet Tooth – Front and Center
Did you have a chance to read the article about The Sweet Tooth on the front page of the March 16 copy of The Blue Springs Examiner? It all happened so fast, and we did not expect to be on the front page, but it sure was exciting to see. If you did not have a chance to read the article, you can view it online here.
If you want to sample some of our cupcakes, we will have free samples available at events around town. We are excited about two of our upcoming events, and we hope to see many of you there. The Sweet Tooth is committed to giving back to our community as often as possible, and these events will benefit two great charities. On April 15 we will have a booth at the Spring into Hope shopping event at the Independence Event Center. This event will benefit the Marian Hope Center for Children’s Therapy. On May 7, we will have a booth at The Susan G Komen for the Cure Greater Kansas City Affiliate’s Survivor Luncheon. We will have cupcakes to sample and have some of our T-Shirts available for purchase. We hope you come by and see us at one or both of these events. You get great cupcakes, and support a couple of great causes.
Have a Sweet Weekend!
